Topic: Discipline of Mind
Prayer Verses: Job 38:36, Isaiah 26:3,Jeremiah 17:10, Romans 7:22–23, Romans 8:5–7, 2 Corinthians 10:3–6
Thoughts: The potential of possessing the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16) introduces the scandal of today’s church—Christians who do not think Christianly, leaving our minds undisciplined. The Apostle Paul understood this well: “Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things” (Phil. 4:8). Each ingredient is a matter of personal choice. You can never have a Christian mind without reading the Scriptures regularly because you cannot be influenced by that which you do not know.

Bible Gateway passage: Philippians 2:5-11 - King James Version
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

22 I love God’s law with all my heart. 23 But there is another power[e] within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. Romans 7:22-23
05:22:25 From Harry to Everyone:
Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. 6 So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. 7 For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. Romans 8:5-7.
05:24:11 From Harry to Everyone:
3 We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. 4 [a]We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. 5 We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. 6 And after you have become fully obedient, we will punish everyone who remains disobedient. 2 Corinthians 10:3-6

Try me and know my anxious thoughts;
And see if there be any [a]hurtful way in me,

We have a sinful nature. It’s when we are thinking in our flesh. We are in constant need of a Savior to save us from ourselves.
05:44:19 From Manny Ramos to Everyone:
When human plays God it’s always artificial.
05:51:17 From Manny Ramos to Everyone:

Thank you for another great day of Zoom Battle Prayer.
