Suffering and success go together. If you are succeeding without suffering it is because others before you have suffered. And if you are suffering without succeeding it is that others after you may succeed. We as believers are the body of Christ, each one of us are members of it. Though we are comprised of many parts we are one unit. If one part suffers, every part suffers. If one part is honored, every part rejoices. Let us not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord. Join in the suffering for the gospel by the power of God. He will give us the grace to suffer in our own body the sufferings of Christ for his body, the church. Â
