Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Unravel me Lord. I need to guard my mouth so I can protect my life, every careless word I speak can injure and be my own demise. The words of a whisperer are like delicious morsels; they go down into the inner parts of the body. Rumors are dainty morsels that sink deep into one’s heart. The fool's mouth is his unraveling, and his lips entrap himself. Lord give me the grace to think before I talk, to not go by instant feelings but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Their needs to be an unraveling of my heart to where God then can fill it with his righteousness. We all have stored up evil from our youth and it has shaped the way we perceive life. All people have different upbringings that they were raised in, only Jesus can unravel the heavy burdens that choke us. It is wise to store up knowledge that comes from God because it will give us wisdom how to thrive even in this wicked world. Wicked people are trapped by their own words, but honest people get themselves out of trouble. The righteous must allow God to purify their hearts, so that their is nothing holding them back from righteous living. It is an unraveling of your life that you give to Jesus day by day. Jesus, you are making me holy.
