A Generous Invitation
Good morning Brothers. Happy Wednesday. God loves you. I love you. Thank God for using our moments of sadness as a starting point for a miracle to take place. Thank him for his limitless wisdom. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.(Colossians 1:13-14). Let’s sing, He is standing at the doorway Of escape from every sin; I will knock, for He has promised, He will hear and let me in. For He loves me, yes, He loves me, Jesus loves me, this I know. Jesus loves me, died to save me, This is why I love Him so. Today’s verse is from Revelation 3:20. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. This is an invitation for intimacy, relationship, and friendship with the Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer of everything. Jesus often used meals to bring people closer to Him. Breaking bread together creates a space for connection and sharing life's joys and struggles. A meal is a perfect time to testify about God's goodness in your life. So if you hear Him calling out to your soul, or you feel Him knocking on the door of your heart, it's your move. He is waiting with open arms. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
