A Great Light

Good morning Brothers, Happy Saturday! Thank God for waking you up this Sabbath morning. God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to pray for someone, God will hear and answer your prayers. After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. Men of Galilee, they said, why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.(Acts‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬-‭11‬). Let’s sing, That glorious day is coming, The hour is hastening on; Its radiant light is nearing, Far brighter than the sun; In yonder clouds of heaven, The Savior will appear, And gather all His chosen, To meet Him in the air. O Christian, keep from sleeping, And let your love abound; Be watchful, prayerful, faithful, The trumpet soon will sound! O sinner, hear the warning! To Jesus quickly! Then you, in that blest morning, May meet Him in the sky! Today’s verse is from Isaiah 9:2. The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned. God has empowered you to shine His light into a dark and hurting world. And not just the "world, but your city and your circles. Who can you reach out to today that could use a spark of hope? Call them. Message them. Go encourage them face to face. God loves you.
