A Heart That Follows God
Good morning Brothers. Happy Monday. God loves you. I love you. Praise God for waking you up this morning. God is Good all the time and All the time God is Good. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.(Romans 12:21). Let’s sing, Stand up! stand up for Jesus! Ye soldiers of the cross; Lift high His royal banner, It must not suffer loss; From victory unto victory, His army shall He lead, Till every foe is vanquished, And Christ is Lord indeed. Today’s verse is from 3 John 1:11. Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God. John cautions us to be mindful of what type of fruit our lives produce. When we truly belong to God, and we spend time with Him, our lives will naturally produce goodness and right living. The goal is not to be prideful about how many good deeds we do, but instead, to cultivate a heart that wants to selflessly do good to others in the name of Jesus. When your actions reflect Jesus' love, people notice. Take a moment to think about your thoughts and actions over the past week. Do they reflect a heart that has been in a close relationship with God? Let your life preach the Gospel through your service and care for others. Your kindness can be a bridge that leads them closer to Him. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
