A Refuge to Run To

Good morning family, Happy Tuesday! God is good all the time and all the time God is Good. Today take a moment to check on a loved one, a Hurricane is coming and tomorrow is not promised. Let’s sing, The winds and the waves shall obey thy will, Peace, be still! Whether the wrath of the storm-tossed sea, Or struggles or evil, whatever it be, No water can swallow the ship where lies the Master of ocean and earth and skies: They all shall sweetly obey thy will. Peace, be still! Peace, be still! They all shall sweetly obey thy will. Peace, peace, be still! Today’s first is from Psalms 34:8. Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. We live in unpredictable times. The things we value, the people we care about, the lives we lead—all of it feels uncertain and unstable. Right now, reflect on the ways God has been faithful to you. In what ways has He protected, provided, strengthened, and encouraged you? And if He did it before, He can do it again! When nothing in life makes sense-you can still run to Him and find refuge.
