A Shelter from the Storm

Good morning Brothers, Happy Sunday! Thank God for waking you up this first day of the week. God loves you. I love you. Praise Him from whom all blessings flow. But the angel said to him: “Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John.(Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭13‬). Let’s sing, Anywhere with Jesus I can safely go, Anywhere He leads me in this world below; Anywhere without Him, dearest joys would fade; Anywhere with Jesus I am not afraid. Anywhere! anywhere! Fear I cannot know; Anywhere with Jesus I can safely go. Today’s verse is from Psalms 91:1-2. Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. The best way to seek God's help is through prayer. Sometimes we need to be rescued from our thoughts and habits. Scripture refers to God as our refuge and shelter. As children of God, we can rest in His strength and power, knowing that He is able to keep us safe from any situation we may experience. However, this requires that we go to Him when we need help. We cannot rest in His presence if we do not spend time in His presence. Regardless of what difficulty you're experiencing, God is able to help you through it. Spend some time talking with God, telling Him exactly how you feel. Ask Him for the things you need. As you seek His presence and trust in Him, He will protect you and keep you safe. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
