An Obscure King

Good morning Brothers, Happy Tuesday. God loves you. I love you. Where love is, God is also. And with God all things are possible. Let’s sing, Lift up the trumpet, and loud let it ring: Jesus is coming again! Cheer up, ye pilgrims, be joyful and sing; Jesus is coming again! Coming again, coming again, Jesus is coming again! Today’s verse is from Micah 5:2. But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times. Have you ever felt forgotten? Unnoticed? Unimportant? You're not alone. The Kingdom of God has always been upside-down compared to the culture of the world. Humility instead of grandeur. Serving instead of ruling. Giving instead of acquiring. Wealth and status aren't measurements for success in God's Kingdom. The Kingdom of God has never been like the kingdoms of this world. Being part of the Kingdom of God is about trusting that God is writing the story. And remembering that, out of small beginnings, God can do great things. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
