Blessed are the Persecuted

Good morning Brothers, Happy Sabbath! Praise God for waking you up this morning. God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to rest today. Let’s sing, Day is dying in the west, Heav'n is touching earth with rest, Wait and worship while the night, Sets her evening lamps alight, Through all the sky; Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of Hosts! Heav'n and earth are full of Thee, Heav'en and earth are praising Thee, O Lord most high! Today’s verse is from Matthew 5:10. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. It's not always easy to stand for what's right. Especially when someone lies about you, or even abuses you. But, Jesus knows what it's like to suffer for the sake of righteousness. The prophets before us were mocked, beaten, and even killed. So no matter what it costs you, You will be blessed for standing up for what is right. And when it gets hard, remember: you're not alone. Jesus says that yours is the kingdom of heaven.
