It Is A New Day

Good morning Brothers, Happy Wednesday! Praise God for waking you up to see another year. God loves you. I love you. 2025 is here! Take a moment to reflect on God’s goodness and mercy. Let’s sing, What a friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear; What a privilege to carry, Everything to God in prayer! O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry, Everything to God in prayer. Today’s verse is from Isaiah 43:18-19. Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. It is again the beginning of another January. It's easy to make a resolution, but as we all know, sticking to the things we resolve to do is another story. God wants us to practice resolution daily. Smaller steps to the goal are better than no steps at all. Which person have you given up praying for? Start praying again. What relationship do you know you need to mend? Choose to forgive today. Let this new year be the year you resolve to keep going. Yes, each new year is a new opportunity to start over. But more than that, each new day is a new opportunity to continue. Keep pressing on.
