Look Up

Good morning Brothers. Happy Sunday! Praise God from whom all blessing flow. God loves you. I love you. Praise God for waking you up this first day of the week. Let’s sing, There’s sunshine in my soul today, More glorious and bright. Than glows in any earthly sky, For Jesus is my light. O there’s sunshine, blessed sunshine, When the peaceful, happy moments roll. When Jesus shows His smiling face, There is sunshine in the soul! Today’s verse is from Colossians 3:1. Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. It's so normal to spend our time, energy and attention focusing on the here and now. We're busy, after all. Sometimes we're preoccupied. While scripture tells us that our troubles and our heartbreaks are temporary, We forget! God is still on His throne and No matter how crazy, senseless, or heartbreaking the world can seem, we can have confidence knowing that nothing is outside of his sovereign plan. So when you're tempted to look around at others or look inward at yourself, don’t look back, look up instead. Heaven is where God is, God loves you. Have a blessed day.
