Loving God's Word

Good morning Brothers. Happy Tuesday. Praise God for another week of blessings. God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to talk to God today. He’s listening. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always(‭‭1 Chronicles‬ ‭16‬:‭11‬) Let’s sing, O safe to the Rock that is higher than I, My soul in its conflicts and sorrows would fly; So sinful, so weary, Thine, Thine would I be; Thou blest "Rock of Ages," I'm hiding in Thee. Hiding in Thee, Hiding in Thee, Thou blest “Rock of Ages,” I'm hiding in Thee. Today’s verse is from Psalms 119:11. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. When we want to learn a new skill, we take care to learn everything we can about that subject. Just as we give our minds to the study of history or math, or we practice an instrument in order to play it well, we must also give our minds and time to knowing God's Word. We should meditate on Scripture and fix our eyes on what Jesus has taught us. We can know exactly what God wants and desires for us by reading Scripture. His Word gives us boundaries, guidance, and direction. His Word shows His purposes and character. His Word reveals to us who He is, and we get to respond with joy and obedience.
