Oh To Be Wise Meditations
LORD of Everything. The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him. For he laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. For every beast of the forest is Mine, the cattle on a thousand hills.
O Lord, how many are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all; The earth is full of Your possessions. The heavens are the heavens of the Lord, But the earth He has given to the sons of men. Look, every life belongs to me. The life of the father is like the life of the son—both belong to me. The person who sins is the one who will die. Now if you will obey me and keep my covenant, you will be my own special treasure from among all the peoples on earth; for all the earth belongs to me. Christ gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for Himself a people for His own possession, eager to do good works. But you are God's chosen and special people. You are a group of royal priests and a holy nation. God has brought you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Now you must tell all the wonderful things he has done. LORD of Everything be everything to me.
