Oh To Be Wise Meditations

God will not renew our minds until we present our bodies as living sacrifices. The old unrenewed mind cannot discover the will of God. So many Christians have never presented their whole self so as to be made whole.

Give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Be a living and holy sacrifice, the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Jesus. Many Christians fall away because they just want the blessings of God without experiencing the true Gospel. The Gospel is about transformation and growth. If you sow sparingly you will reap sparingly. If you sow much you will reap much. If we sow into our relationship with Christ we will bear much in Him. But if we sow sparingly in our relationship with Him we will reap poor spiritual life. What good is to have much material blessings but reap sparingly in our spiritual blessings. Its like have loads of money but the value of it is worth nothing compared to the eternal perspective. How sad to have much paper money that is as useless as dung. When our lives could have had the priceless value of Christ living in us. So you must live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then. But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. Then we can test and prove what pleases the LORD with a renewed mind. Don't be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him.
