Oh To Be Wise Meditations

The ability to see life through the eyes of a child is a gift from God. Life has a way of hardening our hearts and confirming us the way of the world. Life is hard, but there is a time and a place for everything, though no one can tell the future. In the few days of our meaningless lives, who knows how our days can best be spent? Our lives are like a shadow. Who can tell what will happen on this earth after we are gone? The LORD protects those of childlike faith; though they are facing death He will save them. Childlike faith is something being renewed in us daily. Sin has hardened our hearts since our physical birth, but since our spiritual birth in Christ we are being undone and transformed. Believing in God once again the way humanity was suppose to be. Trusting in Gods every word that comes out of his mouth. Now we do live in world that benefits us to be spiritually mature. We must put behind us the lust and desires of our youth. And actually start a brand new perspective of life in Gods wisdom. When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely. We must be begin this new set of beliefs and faith with the eyes of our mind. Focusing always on these three things: faith, hope and love. As we grow in our childlike faith we will realize that the greatest of these is love. Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! The love of a Heavenly Father for his newborn spiritual son is eternal.
