Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Prayer postcard from heaven. Blessings from the throne room of God. I have approached God’s throne of grace with confidence to receive mercy and find grace to help in my time of need. Here in his presence is perfect peace. The angels worship constantly while Christ's glory shines brightly upon them. The place is packed with early morning worshippers. Standing room only and very early, I must wake up early and be closer to the throne. There sits the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! Oh man, if only you were here to see it. I can't explain the warmth, the hope that flows like a river from his throne room. Young and old, faithful and faithless make there way to see Jesus. He opens up his hand and feeds every living thing. Yes, from his throne room I see from a higher perspective. His ways are not our ways, his thoughts are not our thoughts. Yet he makes time and space for each believers situation. I saw a widow sharing her heart before the LORD. She said, "Give me justice in this dispute with my enemy." Jesus, the Great Judge then told her to go that unjust judge on earth who neither feared God nor respected man. And be persistent, and pester him to do what his right and just. In the LORD’s hand the king’s heart is a stream of water that he channels toward all who please him. He will see to it that she gets justice, because she is wearing the unjust judge out with her constant requests! Man, the wisdom that comes from the throne room of grace. You got to visit more often my friend. Don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?”
