Oh To Be Wise Meditations

God loves you no matter what. But then how shall we live? It's so easy to just say I will be more spiritual and just trust that God loves me. But the love of the Father, the love of Christ is a correcting love. Jesus loves us to much to leave in the massacre of our sins and regret. Do we real think that we can live however way we want and just be spiritual, trusting that God is love. Again the love of God is a disciplining love, for the LORD disciplines the one He loves, as does a father the son in whom he delights. The Lord corrects the people he loves and disciplines those he calls his own. Its not enough to just be a spiritual person and trust in God. We must take God as his word. He has put his word above his name, and he does not lie, he stands by it. If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them. If you don't do what you know is right, you have sinned. God is also just and holy, and must pursue relationship with him and his word more than our selfish desires. If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them. Yes, if we know the truth of Gods word we will be blessed if we follow them. Just being a spiritual person will do you any good in growing in the knowledge of God. How then shall we live? Lets Him trusting in the Love for everything in our lives while we hold fast to his trustworthy word of truth. But the spiritually mature Christian judges all questions, examines and applies what the Holy Spirit reveals, yet the unbeliever cannot judge and understand the believer’s spiritual nature. LORD, ink your spiritual letter of the law in my heart and soul.
