Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Got a clog in my sink and I bought a liquid drain substance that activates when boiling water touches it. Yes, the flow of water is restricted and back up of water has me constantly plunging with a plunger. But the boiling water when poured down the drain breaks up the clog and flowing waters are restored. Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? Why are the nations in an uproar in turmoil against God, and why do the people devise a clogging wickedness in there land? Nations rage, kingdoms crumble; the earth melts when He lifts His voice. Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before you! As when fire sets twigs ablaze and causes water to boil, come down to make your name known to your enemies and cause the nations to quake before you! Jesus, set a fire within our hearts, within our nations and pour out your boiling water to cleanse our land of sin and evil. We need running water of spirit and life to permeate our leaders, society, and culture. Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction. When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful. And if you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them. May God bless the nations with wisdom and righteousness as a boling point is reached.
