Oh To Be Wise Meditations
We need more high value men. And I am not talking about those making a lot of money. That is what the world expects from highly successful men, to be made of money and anything less is unacceptable. Meanwhile, a lot of good and faithful men to their regular jobs and family don't get any recognition and praise. They are men with spine and backbone. Standing up for what it right and living a life of godliness and content. Instead of lovers of money they pursue the things of God and his presence. They pursue peace with people and help encourage other men to be successful with more than just money. Money should be just a consummation of the high value life lived. Its a blessing that is added and not the main treasure and obsession that we seek. You will be blessed if you live a life of godliness and peace with God and man. But if you are just a lover of money and that is where you get your value from. Then you will never be satisfied in your life and in your heart. Give me a poor man with some sense than a rich man with no morals and no restrain. Many times the greatest of men are the lest among you. The love of money causes all kinds of trouble. Some people want money so much they have given up their faith and caused themselves a lot of pain. Don’t make your living by extortion or put your hope in stealing. And if your wealth increases, don’t make it the center of your life.
