Oh To Be Wise Meditations
LORD, I don't want to be desensitized to your presence. I echo the words of King David, do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. You have made me alive Jesus in my mind, spirit, and soul! You created in me a clean heart removing all my filthiness and sin. I feel you when you are near, Holy Spirit inspires me daily as I open the Living Word of God. Amazing how you said that blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God! Though I have never seen you face to face, I feel like I know you and your heart for me is breath taking. When in sin I felt guilt and shame constantly. But in the Spirit of Christ I feel love and warmth constantly. I feel joy and peace. Make me more aware of your Presence LORD. Keep me away from false feelings and my pride and selfishness. Holy Spirit you are so pure and holy, please stay in me and work through me. Keep my spiritual house clean and give me the strength to live righteously. I pray for us all this: I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the LORD. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart. If I call LORD, then I must know your voice and presence. Open the eyes and ears of my heart Jesus.
