Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Distractions are the killer of purpose. Go to the ant, consider her ways, and be wise. Though they have no prince or governor or ruler to make them work, they labor hard all summer, gathering food for the winter. Notice that even the littlest of Gods creation live with vigor and purpose. They are not distracted but live out their purposes daily with no one to tell them to do it. Ants have an intrinsic purpose that keeps them working and preparing. Keeps them on task and focused not just surviving but thriving, you ever take time to see these elaborate ant hills? Amazing work by these small insects, the Holy Spirit breaths life into these ants and they glorified God with there works of art! Ants are creatures of little strength, yet they store up their food in the summer. We are creatures of greater strength, are we storing up the Living Word of God in our hearts so that we can truly live from purpose and meaning? Where we are weak than He is strong. God strength is better when your weaker. In realizing our need for God I truly believe we will see our purpose in this world.
