Oh To Be Wise Meditations
In the night I search for you; in the morning I earnestly seek you. For only when you come to judge the earth will people learn what is right. Even when the wicked are treated with mercy in this land of justice, they do wrong and are blind to your glory, our LORD. Your enemies do not know that you will punish them. LORD, put them to shame and let them suffer; let them suffer the punishment you have prepared. Show them how much you love your people. You will give us peace, LORD, because everything we have done was by your power. Summon your might, O God. Display your power, O God, as you have in the past. The LORD gives His people strength; the LORD blesses His people with peace. By day the LORD directs his love, at night his song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life.
