Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Therefore welcome, honor, and accept one another as Christ has welcomed, honored, and accepted you, for the glory of God. Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on his opinions. Bear with one another and forgive any complaint you may have against someone else. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. This is easier said than done. LORD help us to build each other up and not tear each other down. In the world we are accepted but turned on when people see our faults and failures. Amen. In the Body of Christ it is not so, we are to lift each other up and honor each other in a way that God gets the glory. Think about this: We who are strong must be considerate of those who are sensitive about things like this. We must not just please ourselves. This is Rom. 15:1 Paul is talking to the Romans about honoring people in the things they are struggling with. Just cause you are strong in one area does not mean you parade and put down those in the faith who are struggling in what you already feel you have victory in. The Apostle Paul spoke some harsh words, but love and truth must be together to truly honor one another.
