Oh To Be Wise Meditations
LORD, your presence goes with me and it gives me rest. You give me peace and understanding while I wait and trust in you. There are things in my life that I need a decision right away and you provide wisdom and provision. There are also things in my life that require patience and prayer. We must rest in his presence and the promises Christ has made. Ye, be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. We start to fret and doubt Gods word losing our focus and spiritual disciplines. God’s promise of entering his rest still stands, so we ought to tremble with fear that some of you might fail to experience it. Better to wait on the LORD than to rush into the flesh and give birth to sin and folly. When we choose to enter the rest that Jesus provides. We have rested from our labors, just as God did after creating the world. There is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. Let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall. Enter in today into the presence of God in Christ and find rest for your souls. For The LORD is a ever present help in times of trouble.
