Oh To Be Wise Meditations

If we look at everything through the eyes of politics we lose sight of what is right and what is wrong. When we stop picking a side or brand of politics and start doing what is right in the eyes of the LORD. We will see a nation heal and recover from sin and suffering in the land. By the blessing of the upright a city is built up, but by the mouth of the wicked it is torn down. And when the godly are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked are in power, they groan. Listen to what Scripture says about King Josiah in Israel: Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem thirty-one years. His mother’s name was Jedidah daughter of Adaiah; she was from Bozkath. And he did what was right in the eyes of the LORD and walked in all the ways of his father David; he did not turn aside to the right or to the left. ( 2 Kings 22:1-2) It's time we stop picking the right or the left and starting doing what is right to the eyes of the LORD. Sin and the flesh will never be pleased, and will take the way the freedom you so desperate want.
