Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Quality of service. It's not just if you serve but how you serve. There are those who have the gift of service and helps, who stand out among a people. But all of us are called by God in Christ to give our best efforts. Don't just do things to check them off a list. No, especially when serving the LORD hear from him closely as you serve others. He can bless you more with a job well done. Jesus says, anyone who wants to serve me must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me. Amen. So because we have such great promises of God we must add to our faith goodness, developing a moral excellence to our quality of service. LORD Jesus, help me to not just check the box of service but to be relational and connected. To up my quality of service as Holy Spirit fills me daily with your moral excellence. Everything you did and modeled for us was perfect. Giving us a perfect faith to work from as we learn to trust in God. The more we grow like this, the more productive and useful we will be in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. I want to be useful in the hands of the LORD for he cares about the quality of our service.
