Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Trouble pursues the sinner. Yes, those living in sin will be followed by trouble because they separate themselves from God. Living in the Light protects us from so much folly and ignorance. The LORDs ways are good and holy. When we stray and wander in sin and pleasure trouble death and destruction follow us. Jesus, give me discernment as I walk through the consequences of my actions. Teach me what repentance looks like and how I can make restitution. I know if I confess my sins to you, you are faithful to to forgive me. I want to be quick to ask for forgiveness and repent. I want to see the goodness that comes from a clean heart that has turned from sin. Work Holy Spirit powerfully in my life and give a sharp conscience. All the days of my life I want your goodness and mercy to follow me. Trouble pursues the sinner, but the righteous see the presence of the LORD pursuing them and covering them. Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but loving devotion surrounds him who trusts in the LORD.
