Oh To Be Wise Meditations
The strongest of evidence for love is sacrifice. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Begotten Son. That who ever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Yes, He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. He gave us his all so that all may have the right to become the children of God. We are called to sacrifice our lives in the same way Jesus did. To be living sacrifices holy and pleasing unto the LORD. Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins. LORD, teach us, mold us how to make sacrifice for others. Help us to put ourselves in your hands and trust in the sacrifice you have already made. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich. We are to be living sacrifices, ready for the LORDs work rich in grace and mercy.
