Oh To Be Wise Meditations

The seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop. Yes, hearing the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit in patience. For God to truly work in our lives we need to be patient and allow his word to do its perfect work in our lives. The things we are struggling with and trials that come our way we need the fruit of the Holy Spirit to make it through it all. We need Holy Spirit desperately in our hearts and minds as we live out this life we have been given. Meditate these words today: And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children, including the new bodies he has promised us. For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. LORD Jesus, I need your divine patience to keep me still and know you are God. It takes time and obedience to bear fruit for the Kingdom.

Meditate Rom. 2:7
