Oh To Be Wise Meditations
God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. Amen. What a gift to be apart of the family of God. In this world the natural flesh and desire of man has ruled this world. Kingdoms have been run and ruined by bloodlines. People have emphasized so much the value of the flesh and forget the blessing of the spirit of things. Yes, we all want our secret ambitions and legacies that we want to grow in our personal lives. But how amazing is the LORD our God to teach us not only to love our own but to love those around us that are not blood family. The Church and Body of Christ is adopted in from every nation and tribe and people and language. God in Jesus has showed us how to love beyond our own personal flesh. Jesus came to his own people, and even they rejected him. But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn, not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God. Oh Jesus, teach me each day what it means to be apart of the adopted family of God.
