Proverbs of 40 yr old man

My reflection. Who is this person I see staring straight back at me? When will my reflection show who I really am inside? Yes, when will my reflection truly show who I am in Christ? Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. Look at me! You may think you see who I really am but you'll never know me until you see what's happening inside of me. As a face is reflected in water, so the heart reflects the real person. Though outwardly I am wasting away, yet inwardly I am being renewed day by day. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into His image with intensifying glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. Every day so many people play a part and wear a mask thinking they have fooled the world. But they cannot fool their own heart. God has put eternity in our hearts so that we would long to know Him and his purpose for our lives. Oh today I know there has to be a heart reading this that wants to be free to fly above the sin and the shame. That burns with a need to know who they really are in Christ, no condemnation. The reason why things are the way they are. Why must we all conceal what we think, how we feel? Must there be a secret me forced to hide? Lets stop pretending to be someone else all the time and see our true reflection in the eyes of Jesus. We live in a world where we have to hide our hearts and what we believe in so that the pigs of this world don't trample our precious pearls. But through the power of Jesus living inside us we will show the world what's inside our hearts and be loved for who we are in Him. Our past sins are gone and our new life in Christ has begun in our hearts by faith. Oh dear children of God! It feel as if we are going through labor pains for each other, and they will continue until Christ is fully developed in our lives! Oh Jesus when will my reflection show who I am inside? I long to be more like you as well as see you as you truly are. When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. What a day it will be when I will reflect the full beauty He deserves at His Second Coming. Oh how blessed are the ones who are being made pure in heart by the Spirit of Christ; for they shall see God!
