Gossip is so tasty how we love to swallow it! Saying bad things about other people is a cheap way to make yourself look better. A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold. Some people are always going to say bad things about you. What you want to do is live your life so no one will believe them. Yes, never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation.
