Proverbs of a 38 yr old man
Holy Ground. We are standing on holy ground when dealing with matters of the heart. Jesus has come to make his home in you. In your mind, in your heart, in your desires, let every other voice be stilled. The LORD is in his throne room, yes when he dwells in the hearts of his believers. Take off any preconceived ideas that come against the living word of God. Keep off those dirty sandals of walking to and fro on the face of the earth. Come to Jesus with a fervent heart that seeks repentance. The LORD is here in your midst, every thought be held captive and brought in obedience to Christ. Come closer to God, draw nearer to him and he will draw nearer to you. For the place where the LORD is standing is holy ground. By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water. May Christ make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. And may your roots grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. For his love is holy ground in our hearts.
