Proverbs of a 38 yr old man

What a waste. This is what the world would say of you pouring out your heart for the Gospel. Giving your valuable time, talents, and even money could be used somewhere else in the impoverished societies we live in.

Hear me out though, you weren't there the night Jesus found me, I've been forgiven and that's why I love Him so much. My life was empty and without meaning, but God in Christ filled me with His Holy Spirit making me full and complete. Giving me new holy desires to pursue and live from. So my life has become a drink offering being poured out on the altar. Yes, a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from my faith, I am glad and rejoice to share the Gospel with everyone I meet. Jesus poured so generously Holy Spirit over me and I can't help but pour out all of me into his Kingdom and his purposes. I pour the best of my life to give Jesus the joy and satisfaction of such expensive sacrifice to him, my life! His blood paid for my salvation, and I want to honor him for his last full measure of devotion on the Cross. To those who are perishing, we are a dreadful smell of death and doom. But to those who are being saved, we are a life-giving perfume. Praise God for those who see it as not a waste, but as beautiful as the olive oil that was poured on Aaron's head and running down his beard and the collar of his robe. To Be Continued.... part 2 tomorrow.
