Proverbs of a 38 yr old man

The LORD is a jealous and avenging God, protecting and demanding what is rightfully and uniquely His. The LORD avenges and He is full of wrath. The LORD takes vengeance on His adversaries, And He reserves wrath for His enemies. The LORD is slow to get angry, but his power is great, and he never lets the guilty go unpunished. He displays his power in the whirlwind and the storm. The billowing clouds are the dust beneath his feet. At his command the oceans dry up, and the rivers disappear. Bashan, Mount Carmel, and Lebanon wither, and their flowers fade. In his presence the mountains quake, and the hills melt away; the earth trembles, and its people are destroyed. Who can stand the heat of his furious anger? It flashes out like fire and shatters stones. The LORD is good. He protects those who trust him in times of trouble. But he will sweep away his enemies in an overwhelming flood. He will pursue his foes into the darkness of night. He will not relent! So don't plot against the LORD! He wipes out his enemies, and they never revive. They are like drunkards overcome by wine, or like twisted thorn bushes burning in a fire. The LORD replies, “I have seen violence done to the helpless, and I have heard the groans of the poor. Now I will rise up to rescue them, as they have longed for me to do.” Yes, arise LORD! Deliver me, my God! Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked. There is a generation whose teeth are swords, whose fangs are knives, devouring the oppressed from the land and the needy from among mankind. Pour out Your wrath on the nations that do not acknowledge You, on the kingdoms that refuse to call on Your name. For at the name of Jesus every knee will bow down.
