Proverbs of a 38 yr old man

3 Day Siege of Battle Prayer

Day 3

There is a smell of dead flesh in the air. People are dying to there sinful nature and finding out that to live in Christ is gain. The vultures in the spiritual air find it grotesque to eat from a living soul renewed in Christ. Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God. But this fragrance is perceived differently by those who are being saved and by those who are perishing. To those who are perishing, we are a dreadful smell of death and doom. But to those who are being saved, we are a life-giving perfume. So here's a field report of this 3 day siege of battle prayer. We have gained much ground behind enemy lines. Lives that were enslaved to sin and death were freed. Lets continue to hold this ground and not be moved. Fight through the night till day break, when joy comes in the morning! Even at the midnight cry take the fight to the enemy. There are torturing spirits that come and try to spy and capture hearts won. Within our own ranks we must be careful to hold the line of faith as we get deeper into the battle for souls. Strongholds are falling and the lost are being restored to their Heavenly Father. On the attack is how we must daily live our lives. While still taking time for peace in our own lives before God. There are no lone rangers, only a body of warriors will do. I see a triage for wounded soldiers. Soldiers wounded by the church, by the world, and by loved ones. The enemy has held them captive for years. I see them being brought into the Kingdom, restored by the power of Holy Spirit. Healing is coming ,rest oh soldier of the Cross. We are on the attack on this last day of siege battle prayer. I am tired and weary, but I know it’s worth all the effort of prayer just to see Christ’s flag of victory behind enemy lines. Oh how beautiful is his banner of over me and over all the earth. Come take what is rightfully yours oh LORD. What the devil has squatted and pillaged, you have restored for your Kingdom. Look, at all these lives being changed and restored. Come now, let us kneel before our Maker. The battle has been fierce but Jesus never left our side. Now then, you kings, act wisely! Be warned, you rulers of the earth! The LORD, the Mighty One, is God, and he has spoken; he has summoned all humanity from where the sun rises to where it sets. From Mount Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines in glorious radiance. Our God approaches, and he is not silent. Fire devours everything in his way, and a great storm rages around him.
