A Grateful Heart. A person who is grateful feels and shows gratitude. They are so appreciative that their hearts overflow with thankfulness. Being overcome with so much gladness that they express peace and joy to those who have given at their expense. Let us be grateful to the LORD for what he has done for us. Give a grateful praise. Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth! God's kingdom isn't about eating and drinking. It is about pleasing God, about living in peace, and about true happiness. All this comes from the Holy Spirit. If you serve Christ with this attitude, you will please God, and others will approve of you, too. We know that God, who raised the Lord Jesus, will also raise us with Jesus and present us to himself together. All of this is for our benefit. And as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory. Think about the gratefulness that will be poured out when Christ meets his holy bride.
