Proverbs of a 38 yr old man

In The Shadows. In the shadows is where the LORD operates. Those who walked in the dark have seen a bright light. And it shines upon everyone who lives in the land of darkest shadows. Yes, this light is the glorious face of Christ shining through the Gospel. He shines on those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide their feet into the way of peace. Some sit in darkness and deepest gloom, imprisoned in iron chains of misery. They rebelled against the words of God, scorning the counsel of the Most High. He broke their heart with toil and they were sick and there was no helper for them. “LORD, help!” they cried in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He led them from the darkness and deepest gloom; he snapped their chains. Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he breaks down gates of bronze and cuts through bars of iron. For its in the shadows that the LORD operates, look to the face of Christ as a guiding light. Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy! I look to you for protection. I will hide beneath the shadow of your wings until the danger passes by. Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings.
