Proverbs of a 39 yr old man
Died for you. Jesus died for you. He lived out his whole life for you and offered his perfect life as a sacrifice for you. While Jesus was here on earth, he offered prayers and pleadings, with a loud cry and tears, to the one who could rescue him from death. And God heard his prayers because of his deep reverence for God. Even though Jesus was God’s Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered. And being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him. Christ did die for all of us. He died so we would no longer live for ourselves, but for the one who died and was raised to life for us. For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living. We have died to this life and the life we now live in the body we live by faith in the Son of God, who loved us and gave himself for us. Give me a heart to say this LORD: That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. Let me die daily for you LORD, let me live out my whole life for you.
