Proverbs of a 39 yr old man
I see peace in the river. So silent and so still that it brings a quietness to my soul. Listen, you must first find peace in the river within so that you can see the where the wind of Holy Spirit is leading you. Jesus has living water ready to stir within you, but we must be still and know that He is God first. Remember, The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit. And the person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. Look, a strong breeze comes and moves the peaceful waters almost like a guide through leads a trail. It flows the still waters onto a path upstream. Be led daily by the Spirit of Christ, His Living Word is our guide. And the living waters stirring within you are connected to a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. Say to the LORD: Send out Your light and Your truth; let them lead me. Let them bring me to Your holy mountain, and to the place where You dwell. Be at peace oh my soul, be at peace. I have peace like a river in my soul. Make the waters so peaceful and still that it reflects the heavens! Yes, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Now send your mighty wind within and lead in the way I should go, my LORD, my God.
