Its the battery. We want to blame the alternator or the starter for the car not turning on. But if your car is fully on and just not cranking over after you have jumped it. Its not the alternator, its actually doing its job of distributing power through out the car fully charging it. And if its the starter it wouldn't even turn over at all, you would have to tap it and see if that helps start the car. Always start with your battery, if its not holding the charge of the alternator than it has become weak and damaged. We get in such expensive repairs and diagnosis when we could have just changed the battery. A car battery uses lead-acid technology to turn chemical energy into electricity. It accomplishes this through the usage of cells, which contain and store the energy until needed. We need Gods power to live the victorious Christian life. The Holy Spirit has been poured into our hearts so that we can stop living in sin and death and start to live in spirit and life. Our spirit is willing but the the flesh is weak. We need God in Christ to fully charge us daily. He is the alternator providing for us what we need for life and godliness. The Holy Spirit is our starter providing for us the fire and passion to live each day for the LORD. Its the battery, its our flesh that is weak and we need to stay close to Jesus to remain in his abundant life he cranking out. He is constantly renewing us and restoring us, giving us new life and vitality. One day soon we will receive a new body free from decay and rust. An everlasting battery life for all eternity. Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. The LORD is the light of our salvation now and forever. In the new heavens and city of God there will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.
