Proverbs of a 39 yr old man
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens. There is a time to be born and a time to die. Nothing can stop these two things from happening, God has complete sovereignty over these things. But their are two things that shape this special period from birth to death and that is time and change. Whether we like it or not the new year is coming. You cannot stop time all you can do is manage it. You are simply a product of how you manage your time and the change that comes with it. Time is an amazing power. Every day is a gift given to us by God. And that gift is given to us to fulfill an assignment. You were sent to earth to complete a task and to fulfill a specific purpose; but you were sent for it by God to do it within a certain amount of time. So you don't have forever to fulfill your destiny. You don't have the luxury of experimenting. The passing of time makes you accountable to God. What did you do with the year that just passed? How much of it did you waste watching TV and being around people that have no interest in success. Being involved with habits that didn't improve your life and body. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive his due for the things done in the body, whether good or bad. For according to a man's deeds He repays him; according to a man's ways He brings consequences. We have one life to live and our days are numbered. We must learn to plan for without it, time and change will bring our lives to ruin. We need a vision from God to plan from. He will give us a plan that is so strong that time will submit to it and change will become its servant. Look soon to the skies, For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.
