Proverbs of a 39 yr old man
A Mighty Column. For every house is built by some one; but he that built all things is God. So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In Him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit. Hear the LORD Jesus say to you: I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown. The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it. Listen, you are a mighty column with a faith built on the cornerstone of Christ Jesus. And those who trust in the Him are as secure as Mount Zion; they will not be defeated but will endure forever. Oh ambassador to the Kingdom of God, may you be enthroned in God’s presence forever with his love and faithfulness to protect you and to guide you!
