Proverbs of a 39 yr old man

A Dying Star. I see a dying star, give attention to it before it flames out. So much potential to shine like the Sun, yet it sits alone in space waiting to be noticed. All stars eventually run out of their hydrogen gas fuel and die. The way a star dies depends on how much matter it contains-its mass. As the hydrogen runs out, a star with similar mass to our sun expands becoming super giants. Amazingly these super giants destroy themselves in a huge explosion called supernova. It's the same with people that have a ton of potential, how much are they being poured into and encouraged? No matter at work, home, or at church their are potential stars that need our affirmation and time. If not, that is how many relationships die in space and neither party cared to notice. Did you know, dead stars come back to life? Astronomers back in October 19, 2021 captured the first evidence of a white dwarf, the stellar remnant left over when smaller stars die, coming back to life while feeding on a companion star. Be a companion star to someone, what others failed to cultivate God in Christ can use you to help others get back to their God given potential. The death of massive stars can trigger the birth of other stars. Praise God! Jesus is our Great Morning Star. A Supernova on the Cross able to trigger the birth of others shining stars through the power of the Gospel! I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels, a plentiful harvest of new lives.
