The World offers us systems like socialism to take care of us and provide for us. As we live in this world we still must trust in Gods provision and providence. The world will always offer you free food, free housing, free healthcare, free education, free money, free clothes, free citizenship, as you compromise your morals, even your personal freedoms. You are a slave to the lender and you cannot buy your rights when you have sold your soul. Your rights as a human being are God given and you should be able to walk in them without government affair. Just like the prince the world offered Jesus saying I will give you everything if you worship me. So does the world and the devil offer us peace and safety in our sin and rebellion against God. But no one is safe against the wine press of Gods wrath against sin and wickedness! Jesus reigns and he is coming as King to establish a Righteous Kingdom that will never be shaken! For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever. Notice when the devil tempted Jesus he saved for last the temptation of worship. The devil started with food, which is your cravings and needs. Then he tempted with angels protecting which is safety. Yes, the world wants to offer you peace and safety in the midst of your rebellion against God. And lastly, the devil offers the whole world but while forfeiting your soul to him. The world demands worship for all the free delicacies and earthly treasures you have already squandered away in sorrow. Hear me out: Say to the world, to the flesh and to the devil, get behind me and the cross before me. No turning back. No turning back. Praise God! The angels are ministering spirits and they will take care of us like they cared for Jesus in the midst of trial and tribulation. We are never forsaken or forgotten. Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? So trust in God more than this world that is soon to pass away with all its systems and practices.
