Proverbs of a 39 yr old man
The Impossible Dream. I dare to dream the impossible dream of perfection. To be holy as God is holy. To fight the unbeatable foe of sin and evil, and to bear with unbearable sorrow the trials and tribulations of this world. To run where the brave of this world dare not go and live a life of faith worthy of the Cross. Oh the pursuit of the perfection of Christ. So many stop short of knowing Jesus and pursue just good works or just a beautiful mind. Many scoffers say you can never be perfect why pursue the High Calling of Christ? But we are called as Christians to right the unrightable wrong. And to love pure and chaste from afar, and to try when your arms are too weary and to always reach for the unreachable Star of Heaven. I strive to Know Him and and be like Him even though I fail daily. But I will always dream the impossible dream. Yes, and I'll reach for the unreachable star. This is my quest to follow that Star of Heaven. No matter how hopeless the days feels. No matter how far from perfection in Christ I am. I will still fight for what is right and holy as a citizen of heaven. And without question or pause be willing to march, march into Hell for a Heavenly cause! I know if I'll only be true to this glorious quest of knowing Christ, that my heart will lie peaceful and calm when I'm laid to my rest. My inspiration, my hero is Jesus Christ my LORD. The world was better for this, that one man, scorned and covered with scars still strove with his last ounce of courage. To reach for what was unattainable for us and give us the unreachable star of His Righteousness. Jesus died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them. That is why, for the sake of Christ, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. Nothing is impossible with God. Praise God we will be like him when we see him again soon. May we reflect his image as in a mirror. What a glorious dream brought to life everlasting!
