Change of seasons series. As long as the earth remains, there will be planting and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night. LORD, the day is yours, and yours also the night; you established the sun and moon. It was you who set all the boundaries of the earth; you made both summer and winter. For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. A proper time and procedure for every matter, though a person may be weighed down by misery. LORD Jesus you once said to a crowd, "When you see clouds beginning to form in the west, you say, ‘Here comes a shower.’ And you are right. When the south wind blows, you say, ‘Today will be a scorcher.’ And it is. You know how to interpret the weather signs of the earth and sky, but you don’t know how to interpret the present times? Amen. I want to be aware of where you're leading in my life, listening daily to Holy Spirit. Preaching the word and living it out in season and out of season. Whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correcting, rebuking, and encouraging people with good teaching and example. The LORD makes everything beautiful in its time. He has set eternity in the human heart, and no one can fathom what He has done from beginning to end. There is a change of seasons our lives, and Autumn brings in a subtle change. Here are some scientific facts first: Autumn, also known as Fall, is one of the four temperate seasons on Earth. Outside the tropics, autumn marks the transition from summer to winter, in September (Northern Hemisphere) or March (Southern Hemisphere). Autumn is the season when the duration of daylight becomes noticeably shorter and the temperature cools considerably. Day length decreases and night length increases as the season progresses until the Winter Solstice in December (Northern Hemisphere) and June (Southern Hemisphere). One of its main features in temperate climates is the striking change in color for the leaves of deciduous trees as they prepare to shed.
