Proverbs of a 40 yr. old man
A farmer must collect his grain at the right time. Then the grain will be useful and valuable. But grain is not useful if the farmer collects it too early. Oh, Jesus prune me and harvest your Spirit in me. I am your stalk of corn, your kernel of wheat, your orange on the grove. At the right time and at the right place, I will be useful and be of value to your Hands. Receiving sunlight and water till the day of harvest. I will wait on you Jesus, the farmer of souls to separate the wheat from the tares. My heart is on fire hearing you say these words: “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work. Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest. Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that Sower and reaper may rejoice together. For here the saying holds true, ‘One sows, and another reaps.’ I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.”
