Proverbs of a 40 yr old man
Riches don’t last forever, and the crown might not be passed to the next generation. Store the hay! New grass will grow. Go gather grass from the hills. For the LORD takes care of the earth and waters it, making it rich and fertile. The river of God has plenty of water; it provides a bountiful harvest of grain, amen He has ordered it so. Nothing comes back to Him in void. Earthly mammon moth and rust will destroy, but the blessing of God makes you rich with no added worry or sorrow. Eternal treasures that overflow here in the land of the living. Honor the LORD by making him an offering from the best of all that your land produces. Then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine. Do not only aim to make money. God created the seasons of the year. So plan your work at the right time of year. And use wisely the things that God has created. Then God will supply the things that you need. Selfish people are in such a hurry to get rich that they do not know when poverty is about to strike. Remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth. You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich. So, go gather a harvest and trust the LORD that new fertile land will grow again. Think about this: Our hearts ache, but we always have joy. We are poor, but we give spiritual riches to others. We own nothing, and yet we have everything.
